To Remote into Desktop:
- Set your desktop to stay on and get your computer name (Steps 1 & 2: https://helpdesk.hds.colostate.edu/a/solutions/articles/11000029677)
- On home computer/computer you will use to remote- install pulse secure and setup hds-staff connection (Follow: https://helpdesk.hds.colostate.edu/a/solutions/articles/11000029678)
- Connect through pulse secure using hds login credentials
- use remote desktop app to remote into your work desktop computer (Steps 5 & 6: https://helpdesk.hds.colostate.edu/a/solutions/articles/11000029677)
For Connecting Laptop Remotely for Work Use:
- For CSU owned laptop - log in on campus for first log in (this way your profile is created on the laptop, first log in has to be done on campus or you won't be able to log in at home)
- On your laptop, install pulse secure and setup hds-staff connection (Follow: https://helpdesk.hds.colostate.edu/a/solutions/articles/11000029678)
- Once you connect to the hds-staff network, using hds login credentials, you will have access to hds applications(ex: Sharepoint, the M-drive, R-drive(even if they show red X's), etc.)
