HDS Technology Services - Staff Support

As of October 2023, OnGuard Alarm Monitoring is now installed on a local machine and no longer available through RemoteApp.  If you need OnGuard installed on your computer, please submit a work order to HDS Tech Services.  If OnGaurd is already installed on your computer and you need access, please submit a work order with HDS Facilities.

The following instructions will help you get logged into the Alarm Monitoring app.

1. Launching Alarm Monitoring from the Start Menu (search for it, or find it under the OnGuard 8.0 folder)
2. The User name and password should be your HFS domain account (aka: the name that you sign into the machine with)
3. Click Options and choose HFS in the Directory dropdown field (don’t choose Internal)
   1. Check the checkbox if you want to remember your username for the next time.
4. Enter your HFS username and password (1), select HFS (2), and click OK (3).

1. Click OK on the Alarm Monitoring popup talking about minimum password standards.
2. Pick the zone that you want to monitor from the dropdown list and click OK.
