Starting a Teams Meeting
- Turn on the TV, the TV should automatically display the main display. If the touch screen doesn’t appear on, it should turn on once you tap it.
- There are 3 ways to start a meeting with this setup:
- If a meeting is already scheduled for this space, the meeting will appear on the left side of the touch screen. Push “Join”, and it will join the room to the meeting or start the meeting if it hasn’t started already.
- To start an “Impromptu meeting”, push the “Meet” button shown by the Red square. Once the meeting starts you will be prompted to invite additional participants. You may invite participants directly via Teams or call out to a phone number.
- You can also make a phone call from this device; you may select the “Call” button shown by the Greensquare. A dial pad will appear, and you may input the number you wish to call.
- Conversely, you may call into the room by dialing the number located under the room name on the touch screen.
- After your meeting, don’t forget to exit the meeting by pressing the red “hang up” button towards the bottom of the touch screen.
- If no other meetings are happening in the space, you may turn off the TV. The touch screen will automatically enter “sleep mode” after a few minutes of inactivity.
