If you have recently changed you NetID password you must forget the csu-net network on your device to trigger authentication and input your new password. Each device can have a different way of accessing the menu to forget the network, but this can be generally applied to any device. Android

  1. On your phone, open the Setting App.
  2. Select "Connections", then tap "Wi-Fi".
  3. Select the triple dot on the top right then choose "Advanced".
  4. Scroll down to "Manage networks" and tap on it.
  5. Find csu-net, and select on it.
  6. At the bottom select the "Forget" option.
  7. The csu-net network is now forgotten, now try to reconnect to csu-net using your new credentials.
  8. If the issue persists, repeat the steps, forgetting csu-vistor as well, then restart your device before trying to connect to either network.


iPhone/iOS

  1. On your phone enter the Settings App.
  2. Select Wi-Fi in the settings menu.
  3. Under "My Networks" you should see csu-net, select the blue information circle on the right side of the strip that says csu-net. This will pull up additional information on the csu-net network.
    1. If you are not in range of csu-net you may also go into the "edit" menu at the top right of the Wi-Fi page, which will bring up all your phone's known networks, you can then forget or delete the network this way (forget and delete are effectively the same thing here).
  4. Select "Forget This Network" at the top of the page.
  5. Your phone will prompt you if you want to forget the network, select "Forget" to confirm.
  6. The csu-net network is now forgotten, now try to reconnect to csu-net using your new credentials.


MacOS


  1. Click on your Wi-Fi button at the top left of your screen, or through your control center.
  2. Select "Wi-Fi Settings" (This is "Network Preferences" in older versions of MacOS)
  3. This will bring up the "Wi-Fi" portion of system settings, scroll all the way to the bottom and select "Advanced".
  4. The lower bit of this page will bring up all known/preferred networks, scroll down till you find "csu-net".
  5. In the same line as csu-net you should see a triple dot on the right, click this and you can select "Forget Network".
    1. In older versions of MacOS there will be a +/- button, select csu-net and then press the '-' button to forget the network.
  6. The csu-net network is now forgotten, now try to reconnect to csu-net using your new credentials.
  7. If issues persist, or if you isn't connecting after you input your credentials, give your machine a full restart, your computer may connect immediately after the restart.


Windows 10

  1. On your taskbar, select the Wi-Fi symbol.
  2. When the menu pops up showing all available networks, select "Network & Internet Settings".
  3. On the left menu select "Wi-Fi".
  4. Select "Manage known networks".
  5. This will populate your device's known Wi-Fi networks, find csu-net.
  6. Once located, click on csu-net and the button to "Forget" will appear.
  7. Reconnect to csu-net using your credentials.


Windows 11

  1. On your taskbar, select the Wi-Fi symbol.
  2. Click on the arrow next to the Wi-Fi symbol, then select "More Wi-Fi settings".
  3. In the settings window that pops up, select "Manage known networks."
  4. You should see all your device's known Wi-Fi networks, find csu-net and then select the "Forget" button on the far right.
  5. Back in the Wi-Fi menu try to reconnect to csu-net with your credentials.
